We have been family owned and operated since 1995. My father (George Sr.), My mother (Joan), My Sister (Elizabeth) and my wife (Alicia) and me (George Jr.), are involved in the day to day operations. My family's background is Chaldean. We are one of the oldest surviving people from the ancient world are history dates back over 6000 B.C. our people originated in Mesopotamia which is now modern day Iraq.
My father speaks, reads & writes Aramaic which is the ancient language that Abraham from biblical times spoke. I am the first generation in my family to be born in the GREAT US of A! I hail from Detroit, MI where I was born and raised. We moved out to phoenix in the 90's and have been doing the restaurant business ever since. We offer cuisine from quite a few areas of the Mediterranean.
You will see both Greek and mid eastern influence since my father's background is from the mid east and he also lived in Greece. With my love for Mediterranean cuisine I have found inspiration for our cuisine from many cultures including, Lebanese, Greek, Israeli, Moroccan, Iraqi, Italian and even American & South Western fusion. Come in and say hello and grab a bite of some of our home cooked food. You will join the many regulars that have become part of our extended family. Don't Forget to try the Saganaki (Flaming Cheese) OPA!!!!!
